We had the opportunity to collaborate with a client who needed to generate a one-pager (a one or two-page PDF for sending via email or WhatsApp to boost sales). The challenge was that they had created one before, but it was rather dull. The client wanted to target a younger audience. That's when we decided to leverage Midjourney to craft illustrations that would help tell the story on the one-pager.
Initially, we explored image banks, but we later opted for Midjourney. We began unraveling the magic behind creating prompts, learning to iterate, progress, and provide precise commands within the same prompt.
Additionally, we used Midjourney to create hero images (the first image you see when opening a webpage) for websites. This has led to significant cost savings for the client, as we no longer need to hire photographers, and photo studios, or purchase images from potentially costly banks—all while achieving incredible quality.
In a parallel context, we have a client, Admazing, who requested the hero image on their page to showcase a unicorn dressed as a biker, balancing delicacy and toughness, while playing mobile games. We iterated until we achieved the desired results.
The most significant impact we've experienced at Noodlesoup since adopting this tool is that our clients are investing in images that are predominantly generated with AI. This was the moment when we realized that this was the future.
What were the challenges when using Midjourney for the first time?

After conducting various research in forums, watching YouTube videos, and even consulting ChatGPT, we discovered how to create prompts that would allow us to obtain the desired results. We understood that the prompt is like giving a brief (a description of what is wanted) to a specialist in a subject.
With Midjourney, you can specify the types of cameras, lenses, lights, framing, exposure, image size, set the amount of detail, and much more. It's basically what is done in photography. Could Midjourney be considered the new stage of photography? Possibly.
Has Midjourney helped optimize delivery time at the studio?
The short answer is yes, delivery times have been reduced. However, in our experience, to obtain an optimal image that meets the client's objectives, it is necessary to dedicate time to think about the prompt. That is where human creativity and analysis are always needed. The tool works quickly, but we are the ones who decide how we want it to look, in other words, if we opt for speed, the level of detail will be lower, similar to a pencil drawing.
